Grounds that their philosophy is derivative and unoriginal, in previous hundreds of years he had been considered one of several great philosophers of this ancient period, in which he had been widely look over well in to the nineteenth century. The absolute most notable exemplory case of their influence is St. Augustine’s claim him away from his sinful life and towards philosophy and ultimately to God that it was Cicero’s Hortensius (an exhortation to philosophy, the text of which is unfortunately lost) that turned. Augustine later adopted Cicero’s concept of a commonwealth and tried it in the argument that Christianity wasn’t in charge of the destruction of Rome by the barbarians.
